In addition to community projects, OBT runs after-school education activities for children in Chiro village.
These programs aim to complement public schooling by providing children with pratical skills that are essential for their future, but often difficult to access in rural areas.
English classes
OBT offers basic English classes for children and teenagers.
Learning English helps students:
- build confidence
- improve communication skills
- access future education and job opportunities
Classes are adapted to the local level and focus on practical, everyday use of English.
Computer and digital skills
OBT also provides introductory computer classes, helping students become familiar with basic digital tools.
These sessions include:
- basic computer use
- typing and simple software
- understanding how technology can be used for learning
In a rural context, access to computers and digital education remains limited. These classes help reduce that gap.
